Airport Transfers for Solo Travellers

Know your driver, your price and your pickup point before you land. Private, fixed-fare transfers with a name-board meet inside the terminal — 24/7.

Short answer: Travelling alone, you want to know exactly who is meeting you and what it will cost before you land. With us both are settled at booking: a fixed, pre-paid fare ($95–$140 by sedan to Gold Coast Airport, $175–$275 to Brisbane Airport, by suburb), a written confirmation by email, and a driver from a family-run business waiting inside the terminal with your name on a board — 24/7, rated 5.0 on Google.

Why solo travellers pre-book

Alone at a rank or on a rideshare app, you are matching a stranger’s numberplate at the kerb while juggling your own luggage, and the price is whatever the meter or the surge decides. A pre-booked private transfer flips every one of those: the booking is in your name and confirmed in writing, the car is private — never shared with strangers — the fare was fixed and paid before you flew, and the pickup point is inside the terminal at arrivals, in the light, where your driver is standing with a name board. If the flight is early or late, we already know, because we track it; a delayed flight costs nothing extra. Late-night arrivals are routine for us — we operate 24/7 — and on departures the car comes to your door, so there is no waiting alone at a kerb.

You are also not dealing with an anonymous platform. Andy’s Luxury Transport is a husband-and-wife family business, and the people taking your booking are the people doing the driving — one reason the reviews sit at 5.0 on Google.

“When you travel on your own, the worst part is the unknowns — which car, what price, who is driving. We take all three off the table before the plane even boards: your name on the booking, your name on the board, and the fare already settled.”

— Andy, owner-driver

Frequently asked questions

How do I know who is picking me up?

Your booking is confirmed by email with the fixed fare and pickup details, and at the airport your driver is inside the terminal at arrivals holding a board with your name on it – from a family-run business where the owners do the driving.

Is the car shared with other passengers?

No – every booking is a private vehicle. It is your car for the trip, whether you are one person in a sedan or a group in the Carnival.

How much does it cost?

Fixed by suburb: $95-$140 by sedan to Gold Coast Airport and $175-$275 to Brisbane Airport, per vehicle, GST-inclusive, the same price in either direction. Your suburb is on the fixed price chart.

Do I pay the driver in the car?

No – the fare is fixed and paid when you book, and any add-ons are shown in the booking form before you confirm. No cash changes hands and there is no meter.

Is it safe to arrive alone late at night?

We operate 24/7 and late-night arrivals are routine: you are met by name inside the terminal, not at a dark kerb, and we track the flight so the driver is there whenever you land.

What if my flight is delayed?

We track your flight number and the driver adjusts automatically. A delayed flight costs nothing extra.

Where exactly do I meet the driver?

Inside the terminal at the arrivals area – at both Gold Coast Airport and Brisbane Airport – holding a name board. The driver then helps with your luggage to the vehicle.

Can someone else track my trip?

The simplest way is to share your booking confirmation – it has the pickup time, route and our direct number 0405 459 224, so a family member can always reach us about your transfer.

Can I book for early-morning departures?

Yes – we run 24/7, and we set the pickup time for you from your flight number with a proper traffic margin, confirmed in writing.

Will the driver help with my luggage?

Yes – from your door to the boot on departures, and from arrivals to the vehicle when you land.

Do you cover both airports and the cruise terminal?

Yes – Gold Coast Airport, Brisbane Airport and the Brisbane Cruise Terminal are all fixed-fare routes from every Gold Coast suburb, plus Byron Bay and Northern NSW.

What is your cancellation policy if my plans change?

Cancel more than 24 hours before pickup and you receive a full credit toward a future transfer. Within 24 hours of pickup no credit applies.

Is there a discount for booking my return trip?

Yes – book both legs together and the return leg is 5% off, with both pickups confirmed in the diary.

Is the fare more if I am just one person?

No – fares are per vehicle, and the sedan fare is the same whether one, two or three people travel.
