Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made with Andy’s Luxury Transport (ABN 99 685 504 474, BEA 203782). Please read them carefully before you book.
Passenger Responsibilities
A booking becomes a contract once we confirm it (by phone or email) and payment arrangements are in place. Your confirmation is your booking reference and may be requested by your driver.
Please give us a contact phone number that works in Australia. We cannot be held responsible for problems caused if we are unable to reach you, so if your overseas phone will not roam here, please also provide an email address.
On arrival, please check your phone for messages so your driver can coordinate a smooth pick-up at the airport or cruise terminal.
Child and booster seats are available in our vehicles at an additional $25 per seat. You must request them at the time of booking. We cannot be held responsible if a transfer cannot proceed because we were not notified. For transfers into New South Wales, child restraints are compulsory under NSW law and remain the passenger’s responsibility.
Please make sure all booking details are correct, as changes may attract additional charges.
Payments & Fares
Payment can be made by PayID, or processed securely through our website. Under Queensland legislation, invoice payments must be made before travel.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment must be made and approved at least 24 hours before travel. If it is not, we may be unable to dispatch a driver, and we reserve the right not to attend where payment has not been received or approved.
Any applicable after-hours amount is already calculated within your quote and is not charged in addition to the transfer cost.
Cancellations
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booked transfer time are non-refundable. Cancellations made within one week of the transfer will receive a full credit, to be used within 12 months of the cancellation date. Cancellations made more than one week before the transfer will receive a full refund.
If circumstances beyond our control force us to cancel your transfer, we reserve the right to arrange an alternative vehicle of the same class or higher.
We are not liable for any costs incurred if you miss a flight due to circumstances outside our control.
Delays
If your flight is delayed, we will do our best to accommodate you, and we reserve the right to arrange an alternative driver with a similar or higher-class vehicle at no extra cost. Please contact us by phone on 0405 459 224 as soon as you know of a significant delay so we can coordinate with your driver.
If your driver cannot wait for a delayed flight and no alternative can be arranged, we may need to cancel the booking. We will only do this where the delay would compromise our service to other passengers booked after you.
No-Show & Waiting Times
For residential pick-ups, the driver will send a text message upon arrival at the designated location. If no response is received within 10 minutes of the scheduled departure time, the booking will be treated as a no-show. In such cases, the driver will depart and no refund will be provided.
For airport pick-ups, the driver will wait for a limited period from the time of landing: 30 minutes for domestic flights and 1 hour and 20 minutes for international flights. If no contact is made with the driver before this period expires, the booking will be treated as a no-show.
General
We may change the driver assigned to your transfer in exceptional circumstances. All our drivers are appropriately registered and accredited.
Stops en route for shopping or other non-essential reasons are generally only possible with a private charter and must be arranged at the time of booking so time can be allowed.
Smoking and illegal drugs are not permitted in the vehicle. The consumption of alcohol is strictly forbidden in the vehicle under Queensland law. The consumption of other food and drink is at the driver’s discretion. Our driver may refuse to carry any passenger who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who poses a risk to the driver or other passengers. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Any aggressive or abusive behaviour towards the driver or others will result in cancellation of the transfer with no refund.
Luggage capacity is shown when you book your vehicle. If your actual luggage differs from the booking information and does not fit in the vehicle, this is the passenger’s responsibility. Larger items may incur an extra charge. If your baggage does not arrive with you, please tell your driver or us immediately.
Luggage is carried at the passenger’s own risk. We are not liable for loss or damage to luggage except where caused by our negligence, and we recommend passengers hold appropriate travel insurance.
Liability, Insurance & Jurisdiction
We will endeavour to complete each transfer from the pick-up point to the destination at the agreed time with the least delay reasonably possible. However, circumstances beyond our or the driver’s control may prevent this, and we cannot be held responsible for any financial or material loss that results.
Such circumstances include, but are not limited to: delays caused by a flight or train running late; any accident or incident causing delay, whether or not our vehicle is involved; road closures or restricted access on the intended route; weather conditions or unforeseen traffic; the driver or vehicle being detained by police or another official; any situation affecting the safety of passengers or the driver; and delays caused by third parties, including industrial action, terrorism or vandalism.
We accept no responsibility for valuables left in a vehicle, though we will try to return items that are reported and found (an additional charge may apply).
Our vehicles carry the required insurance, including third-party, public liability and comprehensive accident cover. We strongly recommend passengers take out their own travel insurance; we accept no responsibility for those who are not covered.
These terms do not affect your statutory rights under Australian law, and they are governed by Australian law.
